Solidarity with the poor and marginalised
Showing solidarity with the poor and marginalised is an essential part of the Christian way of life. In our parish we try to support those in need - in our community and around the world - in a variety of ways.
- Social Volunteering Project: helping those in financial and social poverty
- Foodbank: We gather weekly collections for distribution from Our Lady Queen of Martyrs School
- We support a partner parish in Peru
- Season of Creation & Harvest Sunday: including our collections for Carecent and CAFOD
- Diocesan LGBT+ Ministry: we provide music and other support for monthly Masses
- We are a Fairtrade Parish
- Special collections throughout the year for Church and other charities
